When you walk through the front doors, just make yourself at home. Grab a cup of coffee from the lobby, look around and find a place to sit, and visit with others who are joining us for worship. While you’re waiting, we would love it if you filled out a Connection Card (located on the back of each pew) and let us know that you were with us. When you’ve filled it out, you can drop it in the offering plate or just leave it in your seat when you leave.

Our Sunday morning worship service is a time centered around the preaching of God’s Word. The service lasts about 75 minutes and typically follows this format:

A Note About The Offering

The Sunday morning offering is for those who are a regular part of Oak Grove. It is an act of worship done out of love for God and a desire to invest in the building of God’s kingdom through Oak Grove. If you are our guest, we want you to know that you are welcome to give, but we do not expect you to give during the offering.

We invite you to come as you are and to dress comfortably. Some people enjoy dressing up. Others prefer jeans and a t-shirt. Either is fine, and so is everything in between.

NURSERY (Newborn - 4 yrs)

Newborns through children 2 yrs old can be taken to the main nursery. Children ages 3-4 can be taken to Step 2 Nursery in room 103, next to the main nursery. If you have any questions or need assistance, don't hesitate to ask.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH(5 yrs - 3rd Grade)

Children in the age group begin worshiping with their families. Once we have finished singing, they are dismissed for Children’s Church, where they have a great time singing and hearing the truth of God's Word taught on their level.

OLDER CHILDREN (4th Grade & Up)

We encourage this age group to sit with their families during the entire worship service so they can worship with their families and grow under the preaching of God’s Word. To assist with children in this age group who are younger, you can pick up a “sermon notes for kids” worksheet in the lobby or from the front pew before the service starts.

PLEASE NOTE:

Children are a blessing, not a distraction, and we welcome them into our worship service as much as anyone else.  So if you are uncomfortable with your child(ren) going to nursery or children's church, or would just rather keep them with you during the worship service, you are more than welcome to do so.
